I have been to Jaipur a couple of times before but this time I had an opportunity to explore this city. I was here for a shoot with a blogger and we planned the trip for over a month.

I arrived in Jaipur a day earlier and decided to stop off at my cousin’s place.

After dinner I got a couple of hours sleep and at around 3am Nadya, the blogger and the girls accompanied me from the airport,  we drove all the way to Agra to catch the first light at the beautiful Taj Mahal. We reached at around 8am and shot for a couple of hours and after a quick lunch break we headed back to Jaipur.

After around 3 hours we stopped for a Tea break and visited the Step well at Abhaneri. Unfortunately we were not allowed to enter. Later we headed straight to our hotel at around 7pm and ended up crashing until the next day.

It was a fresh morning, we started our day with some Tea and snacks. We left the hotel at 7:00am and drove to the Amber Palace & Fort. We spent a couple of hours shooting since this place has endless frame opportunities in every corner. Our next stop was the Chand Baori which is a 5 minute drive from Amber Fort, you can have a look at how picturesque the place is!

We came back to the resort, had lunch, rested a bit. At around 3pm we left for Jantar Mantar which is right in the middle of the Pink city. About a 2 minute stroll from this place is the most beautiful palace I have ever seen, The City Palace!

There’s a Royal City Palace for which you’ll have to pay a bit more, but I tell you the place has 6 floors of stunning architecture starting from the Sabha Niwas (royal restaurant), to the Mubarak Mahal(gold room), the Sukh Niwas(blue room) and finally an open terrace showcasing panoramic views of the Jaipur city.

We called it off a day.

Next day we woke up and went straight to Galtaji Temple but it needs sanitation. If you like monkey’s that’s a place for you!

Next we ended up going to the Bar Palladio for breakfast, I loved the restaurant since the architecture is just spectacular and they’ve some really delicious food!

We visited Rambagh Palace for lunch, at this place you’ll experience both luxury and heritage! Simply gorgeous!

For the rest of the day we ended up exploring the city, capturing images till the evening, from beautiful birds to the mighty elephants at the Amber fort.

Next we visited the Hawa Mahal in the pink city that makes such a gorgeous backdrop for a photograph!

To end our trip we went straight to the highest point in Jaipur, ‘The Nahargarh Fort’ to witness the sunset with panoramic views of the Jaipur City,  just spectacular!

This was no doubt one of my best trips with a lot of experiences, especially because it was with such great people!
